JOB DETAILS:
ICPAU is the national professional accountancy body in Uganda, established by The Accountants Act. It has the legal mandate to regulate and maintain the Standard of Accountancy in Uganda; to prescribe and regulate the conduct of accountants and practising accountants in Uganda; as well as conduct professional accountancy examinations in Uganda.
Role, Purpose & Context:
The job holder’s priority is to handle examinations related work. .

Key Responsibilities:
1. Handles examinations-related administration.
2. Assists in coordinating examiners, moderators, markers and invigilators to ensure timely execution of their respective services.
3. Processes examinations results and maintains examinations records in the database.
4. Participates in the process of designing and reviewing the examinations’ syllabuses.
5. Assists in the development of the Institute’s student training materials.
6. Builds and manages relationships with the Institute’s stakeholders.
7. Assists in training of examiners, moderators, invigilators and staff.
8. Handles examinations stores, equipment and materials.
9. Carries out any other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Examinations Officer

Qualifications:
1. University degree.
2. Certified Public Accountant.
3. A Qualification in Education is an added advantage.
Experience:
1. At least three (3) years of relevant experience

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills – working with examiners, invigilators, students and service providers.
2. High level of personal organisation, and the ability to work without close supervision.
3. Calm and confident attitude.
4. Smart appearance.
5. Ability to adapt quickly to different situations.
6. Common sense.

8. Ability to handle confidential issues

Job Education Requirements: University degree.
