At the 13th graduation ceremony, Aga Khan High School has awarded a total of twenty seven (27) graduates with International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

According to Mr Micheal Musaazi, the school headteacher, the course is an equivalent of Uganda A-Level education which makes the graduates eligible to join Universities.

Addressing the guests present at the graduation ceremony on Monday 27th May 2019, Musaazi revealed that graduates have gained skills in various subjects, including foreign languages, Chemistry, Physics, English/Literature, Mathematics and Biology on a Canada and UK curriculum and are ready to serve their communities.

“Endeavour to serve and give back to the country, community and family that has nurtured you. Be inquirers, risk takers but balanced since most of the virtues have been emphasised in your programme,” Mr Musaazi advised graduates.

The former executive director at Uganda Investment Authority,Ms Margaret Kigozi, who acted as the day’s Chief guest also advised the graduates to have an empathetic heart.

“You should always help those in need through volunteering, most especially those with HIV/Aids. The skills you have acquired from Aga Khan High School are enough to make you get jobs at a voluntary level,” Ms Kigozi said.
