University Graduates

All international students are invited to apply for Chancellors Awards at University of Glasgow for the academic year 2018-2019. Scholarships are awarded to pursue the postgraduate taught programme in any of the 4 University Colleges.

The University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s four ancient universities. It was founded in 1451.

Course Level: The awards are available for pursuing the postgraduate taught programme in any of the 4 University Colleges.

Study Subject: Awards are available to study the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: $10000

Number of Scholarships: The University of Glasgow has a total of 20 Chancellors Awards available.

Eligibility: To eligible, applicants must

  • Obtain a degree equivalent to a UK 2.1 Hons or better
  • Hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught programme in any of the 4 University Colleges
  • Be classed as International students for fee purposes

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

How to Apply: Applicants holding offers by the deadlines below will be automatically assessed for a scholarship based on academic merit. Applicants who are being considered will be notified within the timeframes below. There is no separate application form required

  • Applicants holding a programme offer by December 1 will receive their scholarship outcome by 16 December
  • Applicants holding a programme offer by March 1 will receive their scholarship outcome by 16 March
  • Applicants holding a programme offer by June 1 will receive their scholarship outcome by 16 June
