Job Title: Senior Accounts Assistant (19 Employment Opportunities)
The Education Service Commission is established by article 167 91) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda and article 168 (1) sets out its functions, authority and autonomy in implementing its mandate. The vision of Education Service Commission is to see “quality education delivered by efficient and effective education service personnel.”
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will be handling all staff personal emoluments.
- Intuitively prepares budget estimates.
- Receives and disburses funds as authorized.
- Updates and maintains proper cash accounts and prepares both monthly and daily abstracts.
- Prepares monthly and annual books of accounts.
- Performs any other duty assigned by the relevant authority.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience needed for the job:
- The ideal job suitors should hold Diplomas in Business Studies (UDBS) or its equivalent from recognized Institutions.
- At least three (3) years working experience in accounts work.
- Computer literacy and proficiency is an added advantage.
Age: Below 50 Years
