18 ladies in the contest for Miss Nkumba 2013/14

Miss Nkumba beauty pageant has attracted 18 contestants.

The crowning of miss Nkumba is set for 12 October 2013 at Imperial Resort Beach, Entebbe.

Ladies in the contest include:

Vicky Twinamasiko who is in her first year studying a course in Hotel management. Vicky is 19 years old

Doreen Walulya, a first year  student of Fashion and design. Doreen is 20 years old.

Alice Karimi, studying a bachelor’s degree course in procurement and logistics management. 25 year old Alice is in her second year.

Brenda Teddy K is  a second year student of Business administration. Brenda is aged 20

Jenifer Immaculate is a second year student pursuing office management and secretarial studies. Jenifer is 21 years old.

Daphine Ingrid Natukunda who is studying a degree course in journalism. The 21 year old Daphine is in her second year.

Grace Aranti is a first year student of International relations and diplomacy. Grace is 22 years old.

Philimon Badagawa.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development. He was recognized for excelling in Journalism during the Uganda Journalism Awards by ACME in 2015. (philebadagawa@gmail.com, +256 774 607 886)
