1,400 to Graduate at Nkumba University

Nkumba University Graduates

Over 1,400 students are set to graduate at the 21st graduation ceremony of Nkumba University scheduled for Saturday 27th October 2018.

The Graduating Class will be conferred degrees and awarded diplomas and certificates in various academic courses.

A Honorary Doctor of Letters (D. Litt) will also be conferred to a prominent personality according to Mr. Eceru Bernard, the Public Relations Officer at Nkumba University.

He says the ceremony will be presided over by the Chancellor, Prof Gordon Wavamunno at the University’s main campus in Entebbe.

Hon. Vincent Ssempijja, Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries will be the Guest of Honor at the graduation ceremony.

During the same function, outstanding students in sports and best academic performers will be recognized.

Mr. Eceru says the graduation will be preceded by the 19th Commencement Lecture on October 24, 2018. The lecture will be delivered by Prof. John Ddumba Sentamu, former Vice Chancellor of Makerere University under the topic; “Challenging the Challenges of Fresh Graduates”.

Students in the graduating Class are urged to complete the necessary clearance by end of Friday October 19, 2018.

Nkumba University is one of the chartered private universities in Uganda started in 1994.

Philimon Badagawa
