Singer Eddy Kenzo is trending on social media following his claims that he’s bigger than the late, legendary Philly Bongole Lutaaya because he has over 100 million views on YouTube

The 10 most powerful Ugandan musicians on social media based on their Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter account followers.

Bobi Wine

Singer Bobi Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, is the most followed Ugandan on social media platforms. He has 2.2M followers on Facebook, 174K followers on Instagram, and 1.9M followers on Twitter.

His total number of followers is 4,841,000. It’s important to note that Bobi Wine’s social media following started to rapidly go up in 2017 when he joined active politics.

Eddy Kenzo

Edrisah Musuuza, known by his stage name, Eddy Kenzo, comes in second with a total of 4,289,000 followers.

Since the release of his “Sitya Loss” hit song in 2014, which won him numerous awards, including a BET award in 2015, his social media numbers have been rapidly on the rise.

He has 1.5 million followers on Instagram, 689K followers on Twitter, and 2.1M followers on Facebook.

Sheebah Karungi

Sheebah Karungi comes in third position with 2.2M followers on Facebook, 1.2M followers on Instagram, and 794.4K followers on Twitter. This brings her total followers to 4,194,400 million.

Sheebah’s big following can be attributed to both her music and sexy photos.

Spice Diana

Just like Sheebah, Spice Diana serves her big following with both music and sexy photos. She has 1.6M followers on Instagram, 2.2M followers on Facebook, and 433K followers on Twitter.

In total, Spice is followed by 4,133,000 million people.

Lydia Jazmine

“I enjoy Jazmine’s photos more than her music,” is a common phrase when it comes to Lydia Jazmine. And it’s no surprise that she has a big following.

Jazmine has 512.4K followers on Twitter, 1.1 million followers on Instagram, and 1.3M followers on Facebook.

Maybe she should keep sharing more beautiful photos to increase her total of 2,912400 million followers.

Jose Chameleone

When it comes to social media followers, the self-proclaimed East African number one is ranked sixth.

With fans who are young, you are sure to have a big social media following. Fik’s fashion and, of course, music are the reasons youths follow him on social media. In position nine is Wycliffe Tugume better known as Ykee Benda. He has 1M followers on Facebook, 864k followers on Instagram, and 511.5k followers on Twitter making it a total of 2,345,500 followers.

APass

Being a good musician and blending it with funny video skirts has earned APass a big following on social media.

He has 645.7K followers on Twitter, 687K followers on Instagram, and 883K followers on Facebook. The singer has 2,1215700 million followers in total.
